My Art Blog
…I like sports. Only actual reason I watch teevee is because of sports and sports stuff these days.
…I guess I should like the new Xbox thing except I don’t I want god damn hassle free videogames for fucks sake
Had to go pay the phone bill myself so I can get a tech person to replace the modem during the week.
Comission for Gunwild.
Tannah from the wonderous, adventureous and sensual “Tannah and Vard” adult stories series written by my friend, the aforementioned Gunwild.
This illustration is featured in “Tannah and Vard: The Stolen City.” Which you can find over HERE.
(27APR2013)
Featuring this on the main blog. From the NSFW one.
Considering its pretty harmless and not all that explicit.
Spent quite some time on this piece. Planning, posing, then the lineart and the shading… And I should have worked on the balance and perspective on this…
But I like how it turned out.
And do check out Tannah and Vard by Gunwild!
Not for children. But loads of fun.
Tannah & Vard: The Stolen City
Price: FREE (or pay what you want)
Tough-as-nails warrior woman Tannah and Vard the… uh, ex-kitchen boy… are enjoying pleasure and passion in the city of Imira. When people disappear and the sun turns dark, though, they’ll need to put their vacation plans on hold to face ordeals involving danger, fire and of course, public nudity.
Full of sex and absolutely not for children! Sequel to “The Crag of the Wyrm,” which is free on Gumroad and also available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
This story features a cover by Mindwipe, an explicit art gallery and exclusive (naked!) bonus images by Psu, Freeglass and ICS. Some spare change would be nice so that I can continue the series, but pay any amount you like (which can be nothing if you put a zero in the price box - this will also make the payment info box disappear).
You’ll get a very handsome, shareable PDF with no digital rights management hassles, compatible with most e-book readers and your preferred viewing software. This story may not be free forever, so please get yours now if you can’t pay. And don’t feel bad if you’re unable - spreading the word works, too. Thank you for reading!
Another story from my friend Gunwild!
As mentioned, an illustration of mine is featured in this, alongside work by talented artists as said above!
Loved being involved and I think all you who enjoy some adult reading will enjoy giving this a look.
My First Mexican Football Gijinka!
TSM. Territorio Santos Modelo.
Otherwise known as the ‘Nuevo Estadio Corona.’ Home of Club Santos Laguna.
Had a fun time doing this. Deliberated how I’d end up colouring, if I should make a whole character sheet or just this… that kinda thing.
But I hope there’s more to come.
(13MAY2013)
…A seven page comic.
Currently in the writing/thumbing stage.
How does “Based off /co/ and The Lovely Ladybug Universe characters” sound?
Some more Takamin sketches!
I’ve been working on inking some comics by friends as of late, so there isn’t really that much to talk about or post at this moment.
A Tron-like thumbnail, Diego from the Lovely Ladybug, and some miscellaneous things everywhere else.
Another glimpse into What I’m Up To.
This time - Inking a comic!
(A comic that’s been so brilliantly pencilled by the talented Mindwipe!)

Here’s the (unreleased) pages 036 to 040 of Speedrun.
From here on out I started using Manga Studio for the whole process, with the exception of maybe one or another panel that got scanned after being drawn physically.
Here I started using several tools to aide me with the art as a whole - particularly the perspective tool (which I’m pretty sure I mis used more than once) and though lettering is absolute hell, and timewasting, I just went and did that on Photoshop instead.
I’d like to think I improved some in a few aspects. Staging and back ground drawing, maybe. And I’d also like to think I did some work on using foreground and background properly…
Some mistakes and continuity errors here and there. Not to mention a lack of tones. But ah well.
This was pretty much the point when I started hitting a proper, comfortable and priding stride to the production. At one point even managing doing two pages (that I was happy with) in one slow yet productive weekend.
I take pride in the fact that I never missed a deadline. An update or two, maybe. Due to one or another reason. But I always had my pages on time.
Either way, these are it, and they’re up for whomever’s interested.
I’ll be working on getting a “My Projects” page up in the near future where I’ll keep these (alongside the rest of Speedrun if we ever reach that point), past projects ready for viewing and download AND a listing of future projects and their production status.
Thank you.

mechplasma: I know this is normally inappropriate, but I have to say: I think it's a good thing Speedrun was shelved. The comic... wasn't working well. It was slow, it was boring, nothing was happening in it. It was a good concept, but if it was going anywhere it was at a snail's pace. I really felt both you and Nuz were kinda... wasting your talents, to put it bluntly. And you both have a lot of talent!
Aheh. Well I doubt its inappropriate since that’s mainly the reason Nuzlocke decided to terminate its current run. Me agreeing with him.
But thank you. If anything, it’s just letting us concentrate better on other endeavors that’ll hopefully be more enjoyable to read.
Nuzlocke still has the (in my opinion) hilarious Hard-Mode comic, and the wonderful SpaceCat drawn by the talented Mason Tate. Not to mention that AvX parody…
And me, I have my own lineup of projects I’ll probably get to talking about later - which very very hopefully you’ll like.
Again, thanks for your thoughts.
From Nuzlocke:
I’ve thought this over a lot over the past month, and after much deliberation I’ve finally come to a decision:I’m canceling Speedrun. It’s not a decision I make lightly. I really wanted this comic to work out and there were a lot of things I liked about it in its current iteration, but ulimately, I wasn’t satisfied with how it was turning out.I’m not happy with the way I was pacing the comic, and looking back at the first chapter there’s tons of things I’d do differently. With two other comics plus side projects to work on, I don’t think I dedicated enough time to writing this comic. I stretched myself too thin.Last week’s update will be the last update—-for now. I should make it clear that I’m not “killing” this idea, but rather just this iteration. I’m not killing Speedrun, I’m shelving it. I hope to revisit this comic someday when I feel more prepared, hopefully sooner rather than later. Maybe once I’ve graduated from school. Either way, when I do this comic, I want to do it right, rather than doing it in a form I’m not happy with.Despite how I feel now, it’s been a blast working on this comic with FreeGlass. I’ve learned so much about collaborative process and even more about just writing comics in general. Though I regret some of the creative decisions I’ve made, I don’t regret attempting this endeavor. I think you learn more from mistakes than from successes. For now I’m leaving the current pages up, until I decide what to do with them. When Speedrun eventually returns, these pages will still be available for viewing. I apologize to everyone that was enjoying this comic. I hope whenever Speedrun returns in its new format, you’ll understand why I made this decision. Thanks for reading everyone, and thanks FreeGlass, for all the hard work,-Nuzlocke
….And so, Speedrun’s reign is cut short. With Harry, our lad ready forever ready for showtime, and Andy, a fellow for infinite jest…
First off, I gotta say I’m thankful for Nuz to give me this chance. Its been a wonderful opportunity to draw and illustrate for such a talented, funny writer. And though I’ve done many drawing jobs in the last couple of years, this one’s where I’ve felt most at home.
This has been a wonderful experience. I’ve learned so much about making comics these last several months. I’ve learned how to be a better collaborator, a better listener and so many minute things I could’ve only found out making this.
I get the feeling I didn’t get to know you guys (or you, me) enough during our time. But I do really hope you’ve liked what I’ve done here enough to maybe stick around and see what I’ll be up to.
Me, I’ll be around. I’ll keep doing comics. Drawing, writing and collaborating all around in work and stories I’ve been meaning to do since I started to take this trade - with the respect it so deserves - so shortly ago. Stories you’ll hopefully remain with me to read and talk about.
And I’ll be more than happy to re-apply for the job if and when Nuzlocke comes a-knocking on the door again. By then, I do hope I’m more than ready, and improved enough to do his awesome stories and worlds justice.
(…Because god knows HE can’t! … I kid, I kid.)
…And as for Speedrun, I drew up about a month’s worth of pages of updates as a backlog. They’ll be ready for viewing on My Art Blog in short.
So for now. Goodbye, website.
I wish the best of luck to Nuz, to Tate, and to Nuzlocke.com.
As for the rest a’ ya.
Enjoy.
